DIY Wainscoting Class 7/29 4pm

Wainscoting is a dramatic way to change the look and feel of a room. Whether you are doing a stain grade or paint grade wainscoting project there is a lot to consider. For instance Height of overall Wainscoting, Generally Wainscoting is between 39-42″ High. Here in California the bottom of the light switches are generally 41″ high so we typically go right underneath the switch to avoid having to move switches and doing drywall patching. Other things you also need to consider Panel Size, Rail & Stile width, Electrical outlets locations, Chair rail size, Depth of paneling, Overall look/style, Shaker, Traditional, Applied Panel, Recessed Panel, Flat Panel, Raised Panel. In this free 1 Hour Class we will discuss Picking right style for your home, go over height, panel size, Chair Rail Size, Baseboard Size, Base Shoe size (if any), Rail & Stile Width, layout & transferring design to the wall.  Please RSVP by 7/28 @ kyle@socaltrim.com
